The Mooer Ocean Machine II is the result of a fruitful, second collaboration between Mooer and Canadian jack-of-all-trades, Devin Townsend. This second-generation dual-delay, reverb and looper pedal has been loaded with optimised ambient algorithms and nine different delay and reverb effects, giving you ample ways to create complex soundscapes. The looper has been upgraded and now boasts a 120-second recording time for unrestricted experimentation with layers and sonic textures, while the ping-pong and shimmer effects can be used to enhance the depth and spatiality of your sound.

The Ocean Machine II: Impressive Potential

Two independent internal delay modules give you a total of fifteen unique flavours of delay, complete with a 0ms to 2,000ms delay time range and a freeze function. The customisable FX chain can be set up in series or parallel, and the order of effects can be changed as needed. Adjustable global EQ settings and control over the input-and-output levels make the Ocean Machine II exceptionally flexible and easy to integrate into any existing set-up.

Advanced Features

Mooer has outfitted this potent stompbox with stereo inputs and outputs, as well as an expression pedal input and MIDI ports for enhanced MIDI control via clock synchronisation, allowing the Ocean Machine II to work with external MIDI gear. Add that to the bypass and DSP (buffered) bypass and you've got a bit of kit worthy of the most complex set-ups. Lastly, there's Play Mode for quick parameter tweaks and a dedicated Patch Mode for quick access to presets, in which you get to flip through a total of 8 banks with 3 presets each. Future firmware updates can be installed via the mounted USB-C port.
