This snare drum comes from the new Hybrid Exotic series from Pearl and has a 14-inch diameter and a 5-inch deep shell. The aluminium shell is 3 mm thick, which makes this snare drum ultra sensitive. This way, you can easily express dynamic differences, making this a snare drum you can play very gently, but also quite loud.
