We believe it does, especially because it's made up of six plies of maple for a total thickness of 5.6 mm and finished with a 45-degree bearing edge, 2.3 mm Inverse Dyna Hoops, Absolute Cast Lugs and Remo Ambassador drum heads. All of this results in a varied sound with clear projection, masses of dynamics and a huge tuning range, making for a snare that can be used in virtually any style.
