Stevig aan de prijs voor een deadcat en een tasje waarin de recorder en deadcat samen niet lekker passen, voor die twee samen is het tasje te lang en smal. Als deze deadcat speciaal voor de DR-07 is ontwikkeld, dan is het wat vreemd dat hij goeddeels over het opname-indicatielampje heen valt, waardoor je bij veel daglicht onder de deadcat moet frummelen om te zien of het rode lampje knippert of brandt. Overigens doet de deadcat wat hij moet doen.
