As expected from Roland this throne is well made, the stand is particularly solid with thick metal bars forming the legs and ghunky rubber grips on the feet. Gas adjuster works well and at 6foot I'm sitting at about 2/3 of its height range with feet flat on the floor. All stiching and materials appear flawless.
On the negative side the cushioning is perhaps a little too soft for me and you need strong fingers to (repeatedly?)tighten the seat to the base sufficently to eliminate any movement in the structure. I'd also question the longevity of the velour finish.
Overall this is a very fine throne and concerns wouldn't deter me from buying again at an attractive price.
Comes in a big box, part assembled, you just need to drop the seat on the stand and tighten the locking clamp to complete. BAX packing and delivery speed both excellent.
