The MiniBrute 2 takes Arturia's popular analogue synth to the next level. This version, the MiniBrute 2S, has 16 touch/velocity sensitive pads so that those who don't play a keyboard can enjoy analogue synth sounds too. This model is also easy to use and attractively-priced as well. If you're looking to take your first steps into the analogue synthesizer world and you don't want a synth with a keyboard, the MiniBrute 2S is an excellent choice.
MiniBrute 2S: ultimate sound control
Arturia has taken care to retain everything that made the original MiniBrute so special. That means you can still count on a pure analogue sound that can be shaped any way you like. It has a step sequencer and an arpeggiator as well as two oscillators, the classic Steiner Parker filter and an innovative looping envelope, with controls for each parameter. Apart from the pads, this 3-layer monophonic Minibrute 2S sequencer works in much the same way as the renowned KeyStep controller edition.
Connectivity for all analogue synth fans
This analogue synthesizer by Arturia is easy to integrate with drum computers, effects modules and other synthesizers thanks to its range of connection possibilities. It's compatible with Eurorack and it also has 48 CV inputs and outputs, MIDI connectors and a USB in and out. Advanced users will certainly appreciate the versatility the MiniBrute 2S offers and, if you're a beginner who's not sure where to begin, a Preset Cookbook is included that'll get you up to speed in no time.

Got this and a Drumbrute in a bundle and a microfreak as well and am very happy with it all.
It is taking me a while to get my head around as it is very in depth but im getting there, I bought too much too soon but that's no problem. I think the sounds on this are great, the software is fairly easy to get around for all the bits I have, all sharing the same software which is good. The inclusion of a cookbook which has settings for the sounds is a nice touch and really appreciated, all in all enjoying every minute. The sequencer on the 2S is brilliant and midi implementation on all the gear is great, with the ability to send and receive midi and sequenced patterns etc as well as CC messages etc. Great stuff, an Arturia customer from now on...
Goede synthesizer waar je zo uren in kan verliezen. De synth is monofonisch, maar door de patchbay creatief te gebruiken in combinatie met de 4-track sequencer is het mogelijk om jams te maken met 2 voice polyfonie, of een drum en een melodie. De nadelen voor mij zijn dat er geen patch-geheugen aanwezig is, waardoor het moeilijk is de sounds die ik mooi vond terug te vinden (er kunnen wel 64 sequences van 64 steps opgeslagen worden in de sequencer), en dat het voor een beginner als ik een nogal overweldigend apparaat kan zijn.
Excellents sons, beaucoup de possibilités de modifications grâce à la patchbay. Même s'il est un peu complexe pour un débutant, le mode d'emploi est très bien fait et le "cookbook " permet de tester rapidement différentes configurations sonores. Le séquenceur est bien pensé mais pour plus de jouabilité, il convient de lui associer un clavier qui a plus d'une octave (le keystep pour moi).
Le séquenceur est parfait pour modifier une séquence à la volée, il permet aussi la paraphonie si on patch une sortie en conséquence.
Les limites sont justement l'absence de polyphonie et pour avoir une sortie stéréo, il convient de lui adjoindre une pédale stéréo (Bigsky par exemple)qui compensera l'absence de reverb ou delay, etc...
Proposé 27% en dessous du prix standard (plus un promo ponctuelle de 5% pour ma part), c'est vraiment une bonne affaire !
Super synthé fait pour fonctionner en parallèle avec le modulaire grâce à sa patchbay
Permet des tas de possibilités avec un gros son et un séquenceur et arpegiateur vraiment bien fait et intuitif

Get Acquainted with Arturia's MiniBrute 2 and RackBrute

I had waited for this for quite a while and got it with a keylab essentials 49. Minibrute is unusual but in a great way I would say that if you can get one go through the cook book that comes with it experiment but also look on youtube I have made some awesome drum bass sounds that take my speakers to the edge but also the synth sounds are so good too big thumbs up, and thanks BAX received my items in good time again
