Studio One 4 Artist is the latest addition to the Presonus fleet. It's an ultimate sequencer and complete production package that includes all the tools you need including virtual instruments and a mixer. Basically, with this software, you won't need much else to create and produce high-quality music. The tight audio engine can handle enormous mixing rates, which makes the Studio One 4 DAW simply unbeatable!
Features of Studio One 4 Artist
The virtual instruments included give you a good idea of the potential of this software. The Presence XT sampler might be all you need, as it supports EXS, Gigasampler and Kontakt formats. You've got an unlimited number of tracks at your disposal and when your computer has trouble processing, simply activate the freeze option. The Macro Toolbar is a handy tool for many functions and there is time-stretching and pitch-shifting available, as well as support for Retina displays.

Tot nu toe zeer tevreden over dit produkt. Zeker in combinatie met mijn studiolive mixer! Heb nog lang niet alle mogelijkheden uitgezocht, maar tot nu toe zeer tevreden.
Studio one 4 is super goede en vooral betaalbare software. Heel veel mogelijkheden en zeker het professional pakket biedt veel mogelijkheden zoals Chord Track, integratie met Melodine en veel meer.
En ondanks dat de Artist versie super goed is zou ik deze niet aanbevelen. Waarom? Als je muziek wilt opnemen kan dat prima met de prime versie. Waar Ableton Live in de goedkoopste betaalversie zich beperkt met aantal sporen is dit allemaal in de gratis prime. Daarom genoeg mogelijkheden om op te nemen. Enige nadeel is dat er geen VST-plug-in ingeladen kunnen worden en ReWire opties zijn niet beschikbaar net als de luxere opties als Chord Track ect.
Nu is er wel een extra pakket beschikbaar maar daarmee zit je qua kosten al op de professional versie. Als je dus begint zou ik voor de prime versie gaan en dan maak je later de mooie overstap naar professional.. Dan zit je meteen goed voor de toekomst en een loze investering is het dan absoluut niet terwijl je waarschijnlijk wel een aantal jaar gratis super software hebt kunnen gebruiken.

Hij ondersteund niet de Native 64-bit engine (kontakt full version),alleen de effecten wel.de Presonus Studio One 4 is 32 bit versie (is wel te zien in je Studio one artiest de kontakt en alles van de native instruments) ,en de de Native is een 64-bit engine,alleen wanneer je een Studio One 4 Professional hebt (deze is dan een 64 bit versie),dan kan je wel de kontakt gebruiken (64 bit engine) ,je kan wel een update kopen zodat je Studio One 4 Artist wel de Native 64-bit engine ondersteunt,maar dan kan je beter dat je een upgrade koopt naar de Presonus Studio One 4 Professional ,dan heb je ook de full versie van de Melodyne en ondersteunt hij ook de AU, VST, VST 3 enz...is wel spijtig van Bax dat ze geen informatie bijsturen bij de code die je ontvangt,iemand die juist begint met muziek kan niet weten dat je eerst een profiel moet aanmaken bij www.presonus.com om de software te downloaden + je code die je van Bax hebt ontvangen,want je krijgt geen download van Bax,enkel een code.
