The Reason DAW package has been graced with the Propellerhead name for years now but, like the rest of the world, things have changed. Propellerhead is now keeping it short with 'Reason Studios'. Other than that little shock, Reason 11 feels as friendly and familiar as it ever did. This package is a total solution for producers (both beginners and more experienced) to build their own music projects from start to finish. It starts with a large bunch of virtual instruments and effects and ends in a beautiful, expanded virtual mixer, where you can finish your break-though hit to shiny perfection!
Reason 11: Attack of the Rack!
The Reason Rack is a nothing short of a phenomenon in DAW land. Where virtual instruments in other DAW packages perform autonomous processes, here, the Reason rack gives you a comprehensive and entire virtual modular synth system to play with. Manipulate little virtual patch cables to link your rack instruments together and do it all with clarity, intuition and pure joy. Previously, this rack was exclusive to Reason, so other DAW users had felt a little left out. Well, they need weep no longer! Reason Studios have released the hallowed Reason Rack as a VST3 plugin for use in all VST3 capable DAWs!

Automation, an essential production tool, has been gifted with the power to curve in Reason 11, making fades deliciously easy and more natural. Audio clips can be merged with one another via a crossfade, making the creation of audio-worlds. Rather then fading in and out of each block yourself, landscapes can be built by simply using the crossfade to merge pieces of audio. Various small additions and bug fixes provide a better user experience including improved zooming, a mute for MIDI notes, various hot keys and so much more. Dive into the world of Reason 11 and you'll find yourself in a magical land where everything works seamlessly!

Sinds Reason 5 ben ik al trouw fan van de DAW. Ik heb daarnaast ook andere DAWs geprobeerd, maar Reason 11 is honderd procent mijn favoriet.
Reason 11 heeft van zichzelf al ontzettend mooie/realistische geluiden, meer dan unieke 1000 loops die je op allerlei manieren kan toepassen! Daarnaast is het extraatje van de 'Beatmap' GE-WEL-DIG. Werkt goed met percussie, opvulling, HiHats en natuurlijke gewoon de basis van het drumpatroon zelf.
Wel moet ik zeggen dat Reason 11 een beetje beperkt is in de mogelijkheden voor moduleren en gitaareffecten zijn beperkt tot een aantal presets.
Ik ben al jaren fan van Reason. Vooral sinds versie 8 is het mijn meest gebruikte DAW.
Goede workflow, werkt lekker met VST's en heeft een uitgebreide shop om extra's te kopen.
Met deze upgrade krijg je er weer een aantal uitbreidingen bij die het voor mij lonend maakten om te updaten. Vooral de Scenic Hybrid Instrument, Complex-1 Modular Synthesizer, Parsec 2 Spectral Synthesizer, Umpf synths en de drumkit zijn de moeite waard.

was jaren bezig in reason vanaf 2 tot 5.1 en na een enkele upgrade moest ik 11 hebben omdat alles nu in reason kan van vocals opnemen tot vst gebruiken. Werk er nu een week mee en ben meer dan tevereden. Echt een aanrader!
