Goed starterspakket, goede prijs-kwaliteit!
als " leek " lijkt mij dit een zeer mooie combinatie ..??!!! maar vind spijtig dat er geen degelijke nederlandse gebruiksaanwijzing bij is ingesloten , en in de winkel had men ook beetje uitleg kunnen geven ; maar daar zal de goedkope aankoopprijs een reden voor kunnen zijn ...????
Na uitgebreid testen kan ik concluderen dat de Centro Studio Starterpack studiobundel van Devine een prima bundel is voor “beginners on a budget”. Of je nu een podcast gaat beginnen, op twitch gaat streamen, zang en/of gitaar wilt opnemen of als beginnend muziekproducent je studio monitoren wilt aansluiten. Deze bundel gaat je daar bij helpen en dat voor een hele schappelijke prijs!
De audio interface en de microfoon hebben mij op meerdere vlakken positief verrast. De Centro 2i2o heeft meer features en professionelere aansluitingen dan duurdere audio interfaces van bekendere merken. De microfoon klinkt gedetailleerd en warm en het statief voelt stevig aan. Wel raad ik je aan om de popfilter direct te vervangen door een Devine SPS 100 om zo je opnames te verbeteren.
Helaas moet ik concluderen dat de koptelefoon de zwakste schakel in dit indrukwekkende gezelschap is. Als je van plan bent veel op headphones te gaan werken is het misschien verstandig om (op den duur) een andere koptelefoon te zoeken die beter op je hoofd zit en je oren minder vermoeit. Als je muziek wilt mixen op headphones en je budget het toelaat valt ook bij de geluidskwaliteit nog wat te winnen. Er is dus ruimte om te upgraden maar dit is zeker een mooi begin.
De set aangeschaft voor gebruik met IMac op Jamulus. Mic is werkelijk top, koptelefoon is goed genoeg, de Devine Centro2i2o werkt heel goed met de mic. Het gebruik met een rechtstreeks aangesloten elektrische gitaar is "vleesch nog visch". De versterking zonder ingeschakelde HI-Z is net te weinig maar de klankkleur is goed. Met ingeschakelde HI-Z wordt het volume wel iets versterkt, maar vooral in het hoge-tonen gebied waardoor e.e.a. heel onnatuurlijk/sisserig en eigenlijk onbruikbaar klinkt.
Levering was snel, maar ik zie wel dat de de prijs van de set oploopt.

Deze versie aangeschaft om te kijken of Reason nog interessant is voor mijn producties! Wow te gek! Erg veel mogelijkheden en instrumenten voor deze (lite) versie! Mijn oude refills werken niet allemaal, maar dat is een kwestie van upgraden naar de volledige versie! Al met al een top product weer! Uiterst tevreden!

Helaas de "begeleiding" om het product heen niet voldoende. Ik krijg het product niet aan de praat zodat ik daadwerkelijk op kan nemen namelijk maar dit kan aan mijn eigen onkunde liggen een Nederlandse gebruiksaanwijzing of wat extra hulp had fijn geweest. Het product werd keurig netjes geleverd en zag er goed uit
