Installed in minimal time (see the clip under the Videos tab on this page to see how it happens), this system simply locks your strap to your guitar and makes sure it stays there. In other words: maximum peace of mind for you and your instrument. These next-level strap locks come in various colours. This is the black edition.

De knoppen zien er mooi uit, en zijn niet moeilijk te installeren. Zelf heb ik ze op de strap voor mij basgitaar gezet. Bij bepaalde noten resoneerde deze locks mee, de chique doppen met het logo bleken me te resoneren. Ik heb overwogen om kleine beugel-elastiekjes er over heen te doen, om resonantie tegen te gaan. Bij een proef met gewone elastiek bleek dat dat op zich daarmee op te lossen zou moeten zijn.
Verder kwam na twee weken zo'n dekseltje al los. In plaats van ze terug te sturen, dacht ik dat een druppeltje secondelijm dat probleem wel kom oplossen. Idee prima, uitwerking beroerd; ik bleek meer dan 1 druppeltje gedaan te hebben. En de secondelijm bleek kwaliteitsspul te zijn. Het is niet anders.
Kortom: ze zien er mooi uit, maar op mijn basgitaar niet handig. Wellicht dat het resoneren op een gitaar helemaal geen issue is.
