You may be familiar with the Samson RSX118S, an impressive passive subwoofer, which provides your show with a powerful low end. Some might prefer an active sub, however, and Samson cater to their needs with the Samson RSX18A, a mighty 2,000W active subwoofer that will grace your PA setup.
Properties of the Samson RSX18A
The active c of this subwoofer is represented by a D-Class amplifier, which drives a speaker configuration of an 18-inch woofer and a 3-inch voice coil. You are provided with XLR inputs and outputs, which both feature a stereo configuration. The full-range outputs can be used to daisy-chain your audio signal to another subwoofer (for instance). High-pass outputs are used to daisy-chain this sub to satellite speakers, which don't use the lowest tones anyway. A solid plywood housing features rugged handles and a perforated grille. All in all, this is a cabinet that will stand the hardships of transport, setting up and breaking down of sets.

Eerste indruk materiaal: goed afgewerkt. Stevig, tikkeltje te zwaar om alleen te verplaatsen.
Bijgeleverd wieltjes die je op de zijkant kan monteren.
Spijtg dat er geen hoes wordt geleverd. deze ga ik op een andere site bestellen.
Een punt: De 110 volt 220 volt schakelaar is zeer onduidelijk , en zeer slecht uitgelegd in de handleiding.
Heb het risico genomen, en gelukkig staat hij al op 230 volt ! oef :)
Binnen 2 weken komt de eerste fuif test. Ik post nadien een update. (Hij gaat samenwerken met een andere subwoofer, (ook hier aangekocht) de Elx 118p)
