The ADAM Sub2100 Subwoofer has an active design that delivers a continuous output of 1,000 Watts via a formidable 21 inch woofer, fully setting it up for thunderous DJ rigs as well as recording studios. Everything has been neatly packed away in a bass reflex cabinet that's been carefully tuned to help reproduce a wide, deep diving frequency range that reaches as low as the 20 Hertz mark. Besides big power, the Sub2100 boasts a high efficiency rating, so it's able to reach linear SPL peaks of around 128 decibels without any noticeable compression.
The ADAM Sub2100: The Biggest Voice-Coil in the World
An essential element of this sub when it comes to volume, is the gigantic voice-coil, which has an immense 152mm diameter - making it the biggest in the world. Thanks to this very specific detail, the Sub2100 boasts a high SPL in the lower audible frequencies, basically presenting a new industry standard when it comes to subwoofers.
