Mount your GoPro to a microphone stand with the DGMABQRM-001 adapter. Thanks to the quick release system, you can quickly and easily move the camera to different stands and locations. The adapter can be used with standard US 5/8"-27 microphone stands, and it also comes with an adapter for European 3/8"-16 mic stands.

This article does not come with the housing, it is just the base plate.
It is pretty solid though, and comes with that extra nut so it can be attached to the 2 styles of mic stand.
When the camera is on there with a case though, its solid. Its very practical! I'm happy I bought it.,
