The Songwriter 30 head would be the legendary amp builder, Kenneth Fischer's final design. During the development stage, this breathtaking hand-wired model took all its cues from the original Trainwreck 'Bree', so every Songwriter 30 amplifier head isn't just hand-wired but hand-built in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA with hyper-accuracy, all to bring the same voicings as the Bree. Four EL84 valves sit in the power amp section while two 12AX7 valves drive the preamp, and you can be assured that this powerhouse of a model only features the best-sounding, best performing and most reliable components. Unlike any other off-the-shelf amp, there's no master volume, no built-in reverb, no effects loop, transistors or footswitch options - nothing. Instead, there's a simple circuit that delivers pure and uncompromised tone. The chassis of the Songwriter 30 also has a 100% aluminium design selected for its electrical properties and, within that chassis, you won't find any circuit boards, half-baked wiring or trending features - just quality.
