While small, the Coast HX5 Compact Focus torch packs a powerful, 130 lumen light bundle with a dispersion distance of up to 79 metres but still runs on just one AA battery (included). When this LED torch is powered by a rechargeable NiMH or Lithium-Ion 14500 battery, the light output is even greater. Easily adjust the beam width by rotating the head to activate spotlight or floodlight mode and, via the rotatable belt clip, easily store this handy torch in an easy-to-reach spot.

De lamp valt iets kleiner uit dan ik verwacht had, maar de lichtopbrengst voldoet volledig aan wat ik verwacht had (tijdens nachten zie je zonder problemen 30m en zelfs verder, maar de bundel is dan wel vrij sterk gericht, al kan je met de verstelbare kop die lichtbundel ook breder maken al schijnt ze natuurlijk dan minder ver). De bouwkwaliteit is prima, maar aangezien ik die op mijn fiets bevestig als reservelamp is dat nodig (want zo krijgt die heel wat schokken te verwerken).
