Stagg UB70-S ukulele baritono
Descrizione
The beautiful UB70-S baritone ukulele is Stagg's largest uke model. Thanks to its larger size, it has a deeper tone than the tenor, concert, and soprano models. The UB70-S is made of mahogany and rosewood, and is offered at a great price - it even comes with a black nylon carry case!
About the ukulele
Back in the 19th century there was an influx of Portuguese immigrants in Hawaii, and they brought the machete string instrument with them. The machete evolved during its time on the tropical islands to become the ukulele that we know and love today. Many Hawaiians lovingly refer to the uke as the 'jumping flea', after the way the musicians fingers jump from string to string. The unique, memorable sound of this uke comes out strong and clear, and is sure to cut through the mix in a group of instruments.

Een zeer nauwkeurige dienst. Proficiat!
Ik ben zeer tevreden met uw dienst en met mijn Ukelele.
Dank U!
This is definitely a ukulele that is worth its salt. I bought it to replace a tenor ukulele I was selling. I prefer instruments with more space on the frets - like this one. When I ordered this Stagg baritone I knew was going to replace the strings on it so that they would be the same as normal GCEA ukulele tuning. This would then save me having to learn a whole new set of baritone chords. I ordered strings for it but I was not successful. I then tried a different set of strings. Eureka! So far these have worked as wished. I have been able to tune them correctly to GCEA. I now have a punchy sound to my playing. Only thing to do now is get some holes made so that I can attach a strap. The wood used on this ukulele is not amazing. In part It is less than smooth but the whole instrument is loud enough to play at home - which is what counts. I didn't want an electro version so at the reduced Bax'd price this baritone ukulele serves me just fine.
