Every string that leaves the DR Strings workshop is made by hand in the United States of America, and since every string features a round core, the process is painstaking; demands an insane level of skill and attention to detail; and can only be undertaken after six months of intense training. But it's all worth it, since DR Strings guarantees that any musician will immediately hear the difference between handmade and machine-made. All raw materials are sourced in the USA, and during the production process, every string undergoes multiple quality checks to result in a string that bears outstanding sonic quality and maximum reliability.
Veritas: Coated Core
The DR String VERITAS™ guitar strings are renowned for their enhanced tuning stability, pure intonation and long lifespan. These strings boast Coated Core Technology™, where the round core has been sealed in a special coating before the winding is applied to reduce sensitivity to corrosion and ensure fresher sound for longer. On top of that, the Xenon Power-Plain™ strings that come in every pack have been specifically designed to pull out an extra dose of output and retain optimal balance with the wound strings. The Veritas Series includes phosphor bronze wound acoustic strings, and Quantum Nickel™ wound electric strings.
