Mijn 38 jaar oude vintage westerngitaar van Yamaha was aan nieuwe snaren toe. 20 jaar geleden had ik er nieuwe opgezet, maar haast nooit gespeeld. Toen ik snaren voor mijn elektische gitaar bestelde dacht ik dat het geen kwaad kan om ook meteen de acoustische van nieuwe snaren te voorzien.
Ik had niet verwacht dat deze snaren zo een geweldig verschil zouden opleveren. Het is nu enkele uren later en ik den dat ik chirurg nodig heb om mijn glimlach te verwijderen als ik op de gitaar speel. Zo geweldig heeft ze nog nooit geklonken.
Ik denk het spreekt voor zich dat ik deze snaren kan aanraden.
Er is maar een klein ding wat me een beetje irriteerde en dat is de manier waarop ze verpakt zijn. De snaren zijn verdeeld over drie zakjes. Snaar 1 en 4, 2 en 5 en 3 en 6. Het is niet echt een probleem, maar ik hou van het gemak dat je hebt als elke snaar in een zakje met omschrijving zit.
Er zitten by the way ook nog twee gratis snaren (goudkelurig) in de verpakking.
