The smallest member of the ACS family, the Boss AC-22LX acoustic guitar amplifier is small enough for a side-table yet spits 10 Watts of power and wide, life-packed stereo sound via Boss' own innovative Air Feel function. Compatible with any electro-acoustic instruments as well as electro-acoustic guitars, this tight all-rounder of an amplifier can support performing and recording ukulele players, banjo players and even violinists.

The Boss AC-22LX: Realistic Acoustic Sound

The Air Feel function doesn't just help create spacious stereo sound, but actually enhances the response of your acoustic pickup by mimicking the sound of various stereo microphone setups. Five of these studio-grade microphone configurations are provided so you can give the amplified sound of your guitar the depth and realism you would get when miking up, but without any of the issues - including feedback. Via the three-band EQ section, the output can be tweaked and shaped to taste and, to coat everything in some atmosphere, a little reverb or one of the combo reverb/chorus effects that come built in can be added at will. Besides an acoustic instrument, the AC-22LX can take a microphone. Plug it in via the XLR port and tweak the sound via the dedicated two-band EQ controls.

15 Memory Slots, a Built-in Looper & Rhythm Box

Once you've dialled in your favourite sound profile, it can be saved to one of fifteen memory slots to be called up later and, to help hone your timing or even back up songs, a complete Rhythm Box comes built-in and pre-loaded with fifteen different drum beats. Want even more? Then you can not only use the Boss A-22LX Editor app to adjust the sound remotely, but customise the included beats by adding one of a further 119 variations. When you jack in an external footswitch (not included), you can start and stop the Rhythm Box hands-free and even trigger the integrated looper so you can jam along with your own riffs. The rear panel also features a USB audio interface port complete with loopback, so this wee amp even supports recording and live streaming.
