While Vic Firth has sought the help of many a drummer to hone their own signature sticks, few could claim to be so polished as Benny Greb. A wood worker in his free time, Benny has taken what looks like a standard pair of 5B drumsticks but then added a unique, shortened tear-drop tip - the kind of tip you usually only get with a thinner set of sticks. The Vic Firth SBG Benny Greb drumsticks support clear articulation, a dry ride sound and an outstanding rebound.

Toen ik de stokken voor het eerst in mijn handen nam, viel de medium dikte meteen op. Ze voelen goed in de hand, niet te zwaar en ook niet te licht, precies de balans die ik zoek. De grip is uitstekend, zelfs tijdens intensieve sessies of bij hogere snelheden. De licht geslepen afwerking zorgt ervoor dat ik ze stevig vast kan houden, zonder dat ze wegglijden, wat bij andere stokken nog wel eens het geval is.
