If you're looking to join a bluegrass or folk band, the Gold Tone AC-5 5 String Closed Back Banjo is your ticket in. It might be a student model, this doesn't stop it from showing off its quality. As a little extra, Gold Tone even throw in a gig bag while for even better sound, this bluegrass banjo is fitted with a Remo Fiberskyn banjo head. To prevent arm fatigue and bad playing, the AC-5 comes equipped with an arm rest.
The AC-5 5 String Closed Back Banjo: Features
The pot of the AC-5 5 String Closed Back banjo is made of composite material for a strong yet light construction with great resonance. Added to the maple back, the result is a warm yet bright sound that's loud enough to stop it from going unheard in everything else the band is playing, or to come out on top of other amplified instruments. If you want to take this banjo on tour, you need to be weary of any weather changes that could potentially warp the neck and for that reason, the Gold Tone AC-5 has a dual-action truss rod.
