The Fender MonoNeon Jazz Bass V: 18V Active or Passive Double-Coil Sound

Besides a master volume pot, the output of the two pickups can be brought to sublime balance via a blend pot, and by flipped the mini toggle switch, these pups can be geared up from passive into active mode and back again to split open a dayglo universe of high-grade amplified bass sound. In active 18 Volt mode, the MonoNeon Jazz Bass V supplies a three-band equalizer complete with boost and cut controls for the basses, mids and trebles - all of which comes drenched in a far more organic character than you'd get with standard 9 Volt active electronics.

A Roasted Maple Bridge, Toploaded HiMass Bridge & Gold-Plated Hardware

The solid and stable roasted maple neck features a matching roasted maple fretboard complete with pearloid block position markers and a satin-gloss urethane finish, giving the modern-C profile an immediately smooth and snug feel. Extra stability is assured by a toploaded, five-saddle HiMass bridge, while the extra cool points are laid on by the gold-plated hardware.
