The Fender Vintera II ‘60s Jazz Bass harks all the way back to the first ever edition of the now-iconic four-string. This throwback model brings all the vintage vibes alongside some more modern build-quality, from the solid ash body to the exclusively designed Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups. Swing the output of these two special single-coils from warm and round to pointed and biting with smooth ease via a dedicated volume pot per pickup and global tone control.

Unlike the first ever electric bass guitar, the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass has a narrower neck with a nut that's just 38.1 millimetres wide, which not only speeds up playability for more adventurous, jazz-style bassists, but will also feel more comfortable in smaller hands. Keeping things fully period-correct, the fretboard has been made of a genuine slab of rosewood with a round, double-bass-esque 7.25 inch radius which, combined with the set of twenty Vintage Tall frets and the Early '60s C profile of the maple neck, maximise grip and playing comfort.
