Descrizione
The SR306EB is an attractively-priced 6-string bass guitar from Ibanez' Soundgear series. It has a modern, beautifully-shaped, lightweight mahogany body, a slim 5-piece maple/walnut SR6 neck and is equipped with two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups. The Accu-cast B120 bridge is highly stable which means it's possible to fit even thicker strings to this bass if you want to tune it even lower than BEADGC.
SR306EB: pickups and sounds
The mahogany body produces a warm sound with an extra edge coming from the SR6 neck that has a 15.75-inch fretboard radius. Two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups deliver the SR306EB's sound to your amplifier and Ibanez' Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way power tap switch and volume and balance controls let you tweak the sound to perfection. The power tap switch has three modes: Tap gives you punchy, dynamic single-coil sounds with excellent articulation, Series gives you the full, warm sound of a humbucker and Power Tap gives you a mix of both.

Mooie bas. Misschien iets te hoog gegrepen voor een 'rookie' 4 snarige basspeler. Maar ik ga m'n best doen. De bas speelt goed en klinkt super. Puntje van kritiek: ik heb de bas opgehaald bij Bax Amsterdam. Korte tijd moeten wachten tot ik aan de beurt was. Even de winkel ingelopen om de tijd te doden. Eenmaal met mijn 'afgerekende' bas richting uitgang. Wordt ik staande gehouden door een beveiliger. Even uw tas controleren!!! Jammer dit. Vele jaren klant bij Bax, maar nog nooit voor een dief aangezien. Ik zei ook: DONDER OP!!!!! en ben doorgelopen. Zo zonde dat een verhuizing naar zo'n KUTlokatie dit ook met zich meebrengt. Shame on you Bax!!!!!!
Was wel wennen van 5 naar 6 snaren. De bas speelt lekker licht na de action een stuk kleiner gezet te hebben. Toen ik de bas kreeg ging de Jack-plug veel te stroef maar dit heeft men in de winkel in Goes goed verholpen. Ik speel in een 20-koppige bigband een gevarieerd repertoire en daar voldoet deze Ibanez uitstekend. Zeker een aanrader.
Super Bas voor de prijs.
Dit is mijn eerste 6 snaar en ik was bang dat ik veel tijd nodig had om te wennen, maar ondanks de bredere hals, speelt de bas super makkelijk en klinkt erg fijn.
De b-snaar is redelijk goed, (maar niet de strakste die ik heb bespeelt)
Gezien de prijs raad ik deze bas zeker aan want hij voelt en speelt zeker beter als je verwacht voor een budger instrument
Geweldige basgitaar, inzetbaar voor meerdere genres.
De brug is zo gemaakt dat er extra dikke snaren in gemonteerd kunnen worden, voor experimentele tunings.

These are really great basses for the price. I have the 5 string version and have seen the 6 string version.The one I have is the SR305 E pearl white which is great,set up nicely wth low action and plays lovely and you can get a varied amount of tones and cover all genres of music,has plenty of bass and bell-highs when dialled in.I have tried the navy blue, and black planet models and were set up nicely they had a great feel and playability to them.Try out these basses because they are good quality instruments. Great basses!
