The NTX1: Natural Tone

To ensure that the amplified sound is as natural and balanced as possible, Yamaha have fitted this NX Series guitar with a piezo pickup and a built-in microphone. The undersaddle pickup captures nothing but the mids and low mids, keeping out that annoying piezo squeal some classical models are known for while the internal mic, on the other hand, adds airy highs and all the acoustic resonance found in the low-end. Via the Atmosfeel preamp, you can set the volume and there's a mic blend and a bass EQ to help you bring out the right tonal flavours before the signal is sent over to your amp or PA.
