Descrizione
Stage-ready from the sound and playability all the way up to the aesthetics, the Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 features a solid ash body, an HH DiMarzio pickup configuration and a bombastic paint job that gives each example its own unique finish. Digging into the details, even the Super Distortion humbucker at the bridge and the PAF Pro humbucker at the neck have colour-matched covers, while the all-black Floyd Rose 1000 Series double locking tremolo bridge needs no introduction.
The Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1: Fast & Fierce
Since this is a Charvel offering, the playability has been pushed in every conceivable direction. The profile of the Speed Neck; the rounded edges of the ebony fretboard; and the graduated compound radius all deliver the level of agility and control that you would only expect from a Super Strat of this calibre - and the coat of satin gloss on the back of the neck doesn't do any harm either. And, while this model has definitely been set up to support heavier guitar work, the output can be pulled back by popping the push/pull volume pot to split the double coils down the middle and double the sonic range.

On tape dans un rapport qualité/prix imbattable !
Reçue aujourd'hui ( 3ème remerciement pour l'emballage ), la prise en main est immédiate, pas d'hésitation, instinctivement, c'est un bonheur de jouer. Il y a des guitares comme ça, ça ne s'explique pas, ça se vit, ça se joue...
Je ne connaissais pas, physiquement, Charvel. Et maintenant j'ai l'impression que c'est un coup de foudre.
Inutile de préciser que mes propos n'engage que moi, le feeling est strictement personnel !
Je vous fais grâce des caractéristiques techniques, elles sont suffisamment explicites en description produit. A ce propos, ce ne sont pas des Dimarzio mais ces bons vieux Seymour Duncan TB-4 (chevalet ) et SH-1N ( manche ) qui font un boulot de malade, surtout le TB-4 (j'enfonce une porte ouverte...), on pardonnera l'erreur à BAX.
J'ai testé rapidement le split en simple, en son clair, très bien mais je ne l'ai pas acheté pour çà..
Une mention particulière pour le colori, plus sombre que sur la photo, ce qui n'est pas pour me déplaire, la guitare en est plus discrète, plus sobre.
Voilà les premières réactions à chaud, et je ne pense pas changer d'avis.
