Fender Limited Edition Player Plus Meteora EB Black Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag

Bought this Fender Limited Edition Player Plus Meteora EB Black Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag on sale, around £150 less than the Fender list price. Received the guitar in two days on free delivery. The box was factory sealed, no Bax set up was done. Not a problem as if there was an issue Bax take returns. The guitar was beautiful out of the box, all black with chrome hardware and a dark ebony finger board. The neck feels like a strat neck, a little better to play, probably the 12" radius compared to the normal 9.5". Came with 9 gauge strings, I changed them to d'addario 10s with a wound G, and set it up. Intonation was close but not perfect, I also lowered the action. The trem was set floating, and had the usual tuning instability if you play hard, so I've decked it by adding springs, it's now rock solid, the locking tuners are smooth and stable. Now I have it exactly as I want it and it plays beautifully. One thing I love is the balance, it stays put once on, no neck rise or dive. It's not as heavy or as big as the pictures seem to indicate either. The sound is bright with the pickups giving probably a 7/10 on the gain scale, the push button coil tap is an awesome feature, quietening and brightening, this is a sound of it's own, it doesn't turn the guitar into a strat. The guitar sounds great clean, smooth and bright, it also takes gain really well, so no matter what you play it'll do it. I'm so happy with this truly great guitar.
