This model has a chambered ash body that's been carefully milled to lower the weight while boosting the resonance, making it an excellent option for styles that demand full-bodied, dynamic sound. Add on the three-pack of specially developed Fender Alnico 5 single-coil pickups, and you're fully assured of flexible tone.
The Player II Stratocaster Chambered: Modern Playing Feel
Part of the upgraded Player II Series, this Stratocaster features several improvements compared to the original Player line-up. Not only are you looking at rolled fretboard edges, you're also getting a stable two-point tremolo bridge that opens up subtle vibrato effects, extra-stable ClassicGear tuners that keep the tuning from going out of whack when you engage the whammy bar, and a maple neck with a smooth satin-gloss finish. In short, this fresh take on the OG Stratocaster plays and feels like a dream.

Deze gitaar gekocht omdat mijn oude Squier aan vervanging toe was, en ik moet zeggen, de gitaar is echt een vooruitgang van mijn oude Squier! De hals is zo glad als boter waardoor de noten veel soepeler kunnen worden bespeeld. De gerolde fingerboard randen zijn ook een zeer fijne toevoeging, en de Alnico V single coil elementen klinken echt helemaal top, zowel via mijn versterker als via mijn digitale setup. Verder voelt ie als een klassieke fender strat en weegt ie bijna niks. Enige minpuntje waar ik geen fan van ben is dat de tremolo-arm inschroefbaar is, waardoor deze lichte speling heeft, maar dit is op te lossen met een tremolo arm screw of wat teflon tape!
Al met al, als je een upgrade wilt voor je Squier, zou ik zeker voor de Fender Player II gaan!
