As frontman of the Californian psychobilly trio Tiger Army, Nick 13 has earned his right to a signature edition of the iconic Gretsch Electromatic Jet. Designed for and with the help of Nick himself, the Gretsch G5230T Nick 13 Signature Electromatic Tiger Jet bears tight, classic style, alongside sweet custom tweaks. The laminated mahogany body is completed by an arched maple top and comes coated in a high-gloss black finish and mounted with retro-style chrome-plated hardware, while both the scratchplate and position markers have been stamped with the iconic TigerBat.

To fully support the eclectic, genre-spanning sound of Nick 13, the tone of this guitar comfortably straddles everything from vintage rock 'n' roll and hillbilly country to straight-up '70s punk. The chambered body (where the mahogany has been hollowed out and the f-holes have been removed) delivers a natural high-gain output and longer, resonant sustain, which has the added bonus of resulting in a lightweight instrument. Two Black Top Filter'Tron pickups have been mounted, each with a dedicated volume pot, the combined sound of which can be shaped and reined in using the master volume and tone pots as well as the three-way selector switch, granting full sonic control, while the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece wields authentic and expressive whammy-bar effects.
