Part of the sublime Prestige Series, the RG5320 was crafted by Ibanez master-builders in Japan. The dark Cosmic Shadow top only hints at what lies beneath. The African mahogany body, maple and wenge neck, and Makassar ebony fretboard shapes the rich balanced sound that this formidable guitar is able to produce. The natural warmth, clarity and (thanks to the ebony fretboard) an extra tight bottom-end is registered by a set of Dimarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers and reinforced by the kind of power that retains immense presence whether wiped clean or drenched in face-melting distortion. This multi-dimensional Prestige model is also fitted with a coil-tap switch that can be flipped for a lighter, more sparkling single-coil sound.
