Keeley are already considered the boss when it comes to outstanding compressors and overdrives. Here, they offer the very best of both in the Aria Compressor Drive, including all of the lush functions of the much-loved Compressor Plus. A mini-switch planted in the centre of the control panel has even been provided so you can select the order of the drive and compression, and the Drive section offers two modes: low and high, so you can flip from clean and transparent to heavy saturation in the mere blink of an eye. Another deeply welcome function is the blend control of the compression section that can be used to pull out some of the dry signal, giving your sound more punch.

Een Compressor Plus, een Red Dirt en een White Sands overdrive in een box klinkt haast te mooi om waar te zijn.
De compressor heeft alle functies van de plus en is duidelijk beter als b.v een CS3.
De high gain klinkt het zelfde als een Red Dirt, een strak af te stellen OD TS808 stijl.
Of de low gain setting het White Sands circuit is waag ik te betwijfelen, maar het klinkt wat milder en wat "zanderiger". Ik heb het pedaal alleen met mijn Marshall Valvestate combo getest. Met een beetje gain van de Marshall klinkt dit pedaal veel krachtiger dan de youtube reviews, die voornamelijk de wat milde en getemde kant laten horen. De high gain stand klinkt al snel als U.S 80's metal/rock (Van Halen, Warren DeMartini, Jake E Lee). De low gain stand neigt meer naar old school British metal (NWOBHM) en rock.
Ik vind de dynamiek en de harmonics van de high gain setting echt goed. Ook de hoge tonen klinken vol en rond. De volume knop van de gitaar is goed te gebruiken.
Ik ben er zeker van dat dit pedaal met mijn buizentop nog beter gaat klinken.
