In honour of their 50-year existence, BOSS present a special version of the iconic BD-2 Blues Driver, complete with a unique metallic finish and a 50th Anniversary logo. Despite what the name suggests, this plucky stompbox can take on much more than blues alone and sets you up with a warm, crunchy overdrive that sounds a lot like a vintage tube amp. Never got around to picking up a BD-2 before? This is your chance to get your hands on a limited edition!

Als je al een blues driver hebt dan zal je hier geen verschil mee opmerken als het om het geluid gaat. Je hebt ook niet de optie om de custom mode te gebruiken zoals bij de waza craft versie. Aanvankelijk gekocht omdat ik er iemand blij mee wou maken maar ik begon het al gauw te missen eens ik het had gegeven en besloten om het toch maar terug aan te schaffen.
Het werd snel geleverd en hoewel zoals eerder geschreven er weinig verschil in gebruik is vind ik de afwerking van de 50th anniversary modellen (dus ook die van de SD-1en de DS-1) op zijn minst fijn om naar te kijken. Ik zou het niet halen als je er later veel mee wil verdienen opdat het gegeerd zou zijn want laten we eerlijk zijn als je gewoon een blues driver wilt kopen dan zal je die nog steeds wel kunnen bestellen.
Al bij al tevreden over dit en de andere twee pedalen, ik denk niet dat ik de waza craft edities ook zou bestellen maar misschien is het voor jou wel interessanter.
