First there was the OD-1 Overdrive, then came the SD-1 Super Overdrive, and now Boss presents the SD-1W Super Overdrive Waza Craft Special Edition. This hot rod edition of the famous overdrive effect is equipped with a fully analogue discrete circuit. As such, it responds dynamically to your strokes and volume changes. The SD-1W features the familiar Level, Tone and Drive knobs, as well as a new Standard/Custom switch, which enables you to choose between a classic Super Overdrive mode (standard) and a custom mode that offers a new tonal range and gain characteristics.

Agréablement surpris par le son et la qualité de cette pedale Boss Super overdrive Waza craft SD 1 W . En effet , cette pedale , associée avec mes amplis Marshall , apporte une belle chaleur et une rondeur bien particulière …possédant déjà beaucoup de pedales d’overdrive , celle ci est peut être ma préférée….
Gebruik al van de '80s de sd1. Deze is net een gradatie zuiverder en "beter" dan t o zo te gekke broertje of zusje! Fantastische klassieker!
Digitech Mosaic 12 String Effect pitch shift donne le son auquel je m'attendais après avoir vu quelques vidéos sur YT. Donc, parfait pour moi.

Ik kreeg het plugin wereldje (neural dsp, softtube etc) niet lekker aan de gang. De meeste sounds - die anderen te gek vonden - vind ik te fizzy klinken of tezeer een kapotte radio imiteren.
Voor mij was de oplossing om de gain van de plugins flink terug te draaien en het inputsignaal met deze SD-1W te pushen. Het werkte vroeger ook erg goed met de echte Marshalls, en het werkt nu heel erg goed met plugins. Nooit gedacht of verwacht, maar wel erg blij mee.
