This Character Plus Series stomper has been prepped to take on every guitar-based battle. Start by hitting the Bypass switch and you're greeted by the kind of crunch and distortion that harks back to the British-built EL34-style amps from back in the day. And, you get two channels (or 'Characters') of it, each with independent level and drive controls so you can dial in and swing from sixties electric blues style gain to a more modern growl at the literal flick of the A/B switch over on the right.

The Tech 21 Fuzzy Brit: Variable British Amp Sound + Fuzz

Season everything to taste via the global three-band EQ controls and, for a little more hair in your soup, simply kick the middle switch to engage some germanium driven, analogue fuzz (the little round kind that Hendrix infamously wielded). Use it as en extra pedal; stick this retro masterpiece through the effects loop of your amp to couple it with the power amp and make things sing; or connect it directly to the PA or recording desk via the XLR output planted on the side and be assured of premium sound no matter the setup.
