The original and much bigger Diamond Vibrato was first unleashed back in 2006 and was designed around a simple yet ambitious idea: to create a fully analogue vibrato pedal that boasted pure and accurate pitch and had a renowned MN3007 bucket brigade chip on board. Quickly, the OG stompbox became one of the most sought after modulation pedals the guitar-world had ever seen. Now, nearly two decades later the Diamond Vibrato is back and it's better than ever. This next-gen pedal is the result of years of user feedback, improved technology, maximum efficiency and modern functions, completing a thoughtful redesign that guarantees even better playability alongside the authentic quality of the original model.

The Diamond Vibrato: Organic, Rich & Wavy '70s and '80s Sound

This Diamond pedal delivers the same rich and organic, wavy vibrato and chorus that was first made famous in the seventies and eighties. All of this is made possible by the natural, quickly flowing pitch modulation and the round and vintage sonic character - something that modern stompboxes could only dream of. The internal Compandor circuit adds warmth and complexity to the effect, curbing the dynamics just a touch, while the improved design boosts the clarity, reduces distortion and has been pre-trimmed, so recalibration will never be necessary. The new Diamond Vibrato can be powered using any standard 9 Volt or 18 Volt power supply, so you have the pick of classic and pure vibrato sound with some extra headroom at 18 Volts or even more colour and warble at 9 Volts - bringing the sound close to the output of the original pedal when it was shifted into High Mode.

Smaller But Just as Powerful

While this upgraded pedal now comes in a far more compact box, no compromises have been made when it comes to the power that lies within. The fully analogue signal path, the Compandor and BBD Delay circuits have simply been shrunk down to fit the more pedlboard-friendly housing. By using double stacked PCBs, space isn't just saved, but the audio and power isolation as well as the switching circuits have been massively improved, and all of it comes finished with top-mounted jack ports, soft-touch true bypass switching and overload protection to polish off a solid tool that's set up for any modern live rig.
