In fact, you can stick any microphone through this progressive interface and they'll probably sound five times more expensive. The preamps built into the MT 48 supply no-less-than 78 decibels of gain - enough to support vintage ribbon microphones without the need for a separate mic preamp. And don't be fooled by the tight, compact size. This desktop-friendly unit can be expanded via ADAT, S/PDIF and AES 67, so it's able to take on a hefty audio network.
