The familiar multimedia sets with subwoofer for computer applications are popular, but not suited for (home) studio work. If you are looking for a sound upgrade, but don't want to bother with huge speakers, you will definitely enjoy the Samson MediaOne BT series. Three sizes are available and this MediaOne BT5 is the largest version, large is a relative, however: this set can be placed on any desk.
Samson MediaOne BT5: technology
Underneath the hood you will find a 5-inch copolymer woofer and 1-inch silk-dome tweeter. The entire unit is powered by a 2x 40W amplifier module, that is contained by one of the speakers, whereas the second speaker is powered from the active unit. Thanks to two bass reflex ports at the rear, an impressive bass development is made possible. The solid housing with grille for the woofer and tweeter, is ideal for countless studio applications.
MediaOne BT series: Bluetooth streaming ease
The Samson MediaOne BT series has integrated Bluetooth support, so that you can enjoy your favourite music wirelessly. You can easily stream audio from your iPad, iPhone or other Bluetooth audio device to the BT5. From now on you can enjoy a tight, powerful sound without the risk of tripping over cables. Provided with 2x 40 watts, the MediaOne BT5 delivers the same reproduction of high and low frequencies that you are used to from other Samson monitors, but with the added ease of Bluetooth technology.

speakers voorzien van 4 dunne rubberen ringen voor demping. Geen ruis/stoorgeluiden als deze wordt aangezet of tijdens gebruik.
Tip: neem een 1,5mm of iets dikkere stereo speakerkabel om speakers te koppelen, meegeleverde is nogal kort (~1,5 mtr) en dun. speakers voorzien van draadklemmetjes dus dikte is beperkt.
Geluidskwaliteit is redelijk tot goed zoals te verwachten is voor dit bedrag. Voor de beginnende muzikant een leuke set waar je je geen buil aan valt
