The Latin Percussion LP3010N is a 10 inch pandeiro with a wooden frame finished in a honey-coloured lacquer and pre-fitted with a natural batter head, five pairs of jingles, and chrome-plated hardware. Traditionally, the pandeiro is played with the hands to produce a broad range of percussive effects. By running a thumb around the edge, a rumbling sound is created and sounds a little like a drum roll; by striking the centre of the batter head with a flat hand, your greeted by a dry and clear response; and the pitch can be raised very slightly by pressing down on the skin before striking.
