Handmade in Berlin alongside every other KMA Audio Machines offering, the Mandrake Octo-Shrieker describes itself as an Elevated Tonal Euphoria pedal. This stompbox is basically the upper octave section of the Moai Maea in its own box. The Shriek circuit has been given an upgrade, so the standalone Mandrake edition actually boasts better sound than you might remember thanks to improved, ultra-fast tracking. Jack in your chosen axe, dial up the Oct+ and dial in the dry signal of your guitar to the preferred level to push things from a subtle tone enhancement to a full dual-octave grind.

The KMA Mandrake Octo-Shrieker: An Ultra-Fast Analogue Octave Up + Extra-Spicy Fuzz

The Timbre pot controls a second-order low-pass filter that coats the sound of that added octave in the extra spice of a discrete transistor-based fuzz effect.
