The u-he Bazille is a fool-proof semi-modular virtual synthesizer, and while it looks much like a u-he Ace, it's a little bigger and bears a richer interface. The Bazille does boast a four oscillator and two LFO set up, and under the hood, the communication format is the same - just like any Eurorack module. However these oscillators do something different - they support FM and Phase Distortion, packed out with Fractal Resonance, which is a little like an oscillator-sync - exactly what you want to hear when you demand access to a seemingly endless sonic palette. Four filters, four envelopes, a step-sequencer and all of the ins and outs you would expect to be fitted to a Eurorack system have been included, as well as distortion, delay, phaser, and virtual reverb effects. So, if you're more than ready for a modular system but have far outgrown sawtooths and block waves, then the u-he Bazille will simply feel like the natural next step.
