A long, long time ago, peasants like you and I were unable to scrounge up enough cash to get our hands on the many, many knobs and controls of an insanely expensive synth like the EMS Synthi VCS 3. Unless you were Mr. Jean Michel Jarre, of course. Thankfully, that time has long passed, and here we are greeted with the welcome presence of a faithful digital recreation of the time-honoured synth hero: the XILS Lab XILS 3. This semi-modulation virtual synthesizer grants access to vast selection of generators that can all be linked up using a kind of pin board. So you can hook up a noise generator with an oscillator-frequency, or send two oscillators to a ring modulator - the possibilities are literally boundless. You also get a 256 step analogue sequencer - the natural partner of the VCS 3, as well as an extra modulation matrix just in case. Basically, anyone who wants to hit the core of synthesis before they even start building, will find everything they want in the XILS 3.
