With the Simplifier X, DSM & Humboldt launch "the most advanced analogue amplifier simulator ever made". Essentially an upgraded version of the Simplifier Deluxe, this forward-thinking bit of kit sets you up with two completely different channels: the Hot Rod channel that gives you three power amp voicings based on the VOX AC-30 Top Boost, the Fender Hot Rod Series and the Marshall JCM 800, and the Classic MK II channel that serves up sounds based on the VOX AC-15 Normal Channel, the Fender '59 Bassman and the '59 Marshall Plexi. In other words, there's almost nothing that this powerful amp simulator can't handle.

The Simplifier X: Easy to Use

The Simplifier X has been thoughtfully designed for guitarists that are looking for a versatile, flexible and fuss-free unit that delivers impressive analogue sound. No menus, zero latency — what you see is what you get here. The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier X is also fully stereo, featuring two independent inputs as well as two FX loops, stereo outputs, two balanced XLR outputs and a headphone output, all of which have been strategically placed to guarantee optimal pedalboard integration.

Three Modes

The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier X gives you the pick of three modes, where A/B AMP + A/B CAB is the dual mono mode, which is like running two completely different amps that you toggle between via an A/B switch. Each amplifier has its own preamp, power amp, cabinet, reverb mix and Loop FX. In A/B AMP + Stereo CAB mode, you can select different effects and speaker cabs for each side, giving you fuller, 3D-sound. In full parallel mode, it's like you're playing with two different amplifiers at the same time. The various settings and effects of both amps can be tweaked to build the perfect, 100% stereo set-up.
