Arobas Music's popular notation software, Guitar Pro, has received a significant update in the form of version 7.5. Having listened carefully to user feedback, Arobas Music have enhanced the ergonomics with a new user interface, improved the audio rendering and integrated a new score editing function. Simply click on one of the elements to change the title, clef, key signature, tempo, sections, tuning chords, etc. The file browser has been overhauled too and not only lists all available Guitar Pro files found on your computer but links the search functionality with a visual and audio preview so you can instantly tell if you're looking at the correct file. Even the time it takes to tune your Guitar Pro tracks has been greatly reduced and can be done with a simple click of your mouse. While it's impossible to list all of the new features and fixes here, we can safely say that Guitar Pro v7.5 is clearly the most comprehensive version to date!

Ik heb dit programma aangeschaft omdat Sibelius wat beperkt en omslachtig werkt mbt het uitwerken van gitaarpartijen.
De video tutorials hebben me goed op weg geholpen om zelf partijen snel uit te kunnen uitwerken. In eerste instantie heb ik demos van verschillende notatie software uitgeprobeerd, guitar pro was voor mij t makkelijkst om mee te werken voor t uitwerken van gitaar partijen dus die heb ik uiteindelijk ook aangeschaft. Er zijn nog wel verbeterpunten aan dit programma mogelijk wat t nog handiger zou maken, daarom krijgt t 4 sterren.
Gebruik Guitar Pro als sinds editie 4. Nu de nieuwe 7.5 gekocht via Bax. Uitstekend programma om mee te oefenen en zelf muziek in notatie te schrijven.
Online en via de gekoppelde MySongbook zijn diverse tabs te vinden van bestaande muziek en bands. Daarnaast kan er zelf tabs geschreven worden. Werkt snel en goed en de handelingssnelheden zijn uitstekend.
Ikzelf heb de versie gekocht via Bax-shop omdat ik nog een cadeaubon van 50 had liggen. Echter als je rechtstreeks via de website van Arobas bestelt ben je goedkoper uit.

Zeer prettige software in combinatie met MySongBook. Zeer accurate tabs om makkelijk nieuwe nummers te leren. Ook goed om eigen nummers te maken samen met de band. Deze software is niet alleen voor gitaar zoals de naam vermeld, maar praktisch elk instrument. Prijs van de software lijkt hoog, maar is het voor mij zeker waard.
