Made of steel, this rack-mountable, freely removable hook is compatible with any 2U rack and features a soft PVC coating so it can't damage the finish of your headphones. WYSIWYG, simpel maar doeltreffend
Dit leek me nu echt een handig ding. Alleen toen ik ging puzzelen waar die dan in mijn rack bevestigd zou moeten worden, bleek die toch niet zo handig te zijn.
Mijn eerste gedachte was om hem op de bevestigingsschroeven van mijn Soundcraft UI 16 te zetten, maar dan zit de beugel precies op dezelfde hoogte als (links) de RCA pluggen of (rechts) de AUX XLR connectors.
Dan kun je de beugel dus niet inklappen, als je die stekkers gebruikt.
De bevestigingsogen zitten op 2 HE afstand, dus je kunt hem ook over 2 units van 1 HE bevestigen, maar dan heb je wel langere schroeven nodig.
Bax heeft ook de Caymon RHB10 in het assortiment, die heeft uitsparingen voor de tussenliggende bevestigingsschroeven. Die is net wat meer doordacht, die had ik beter kunnen kopen

Perfect solution for my needs, very overlooked item. Attacked onto my rack over a blanking plate and patchbay and use it to quickly access headphones when mixing.
Can be removed and inserted from other end, which means can be placed on either left or right of rack. Be aware that it can’t have any rack screws under it, so will need to pass over a ‘blank’ space in the rack. I placed it over the bottom screw of a patch bay and it the bottom screw of a blanking plate below it. This meant removing the top screw of the blanking plate, but doesn’t matter as the other three screws held it in place.
Very handy and will order a few more, one for cable management within the rack and the other for my studio desk which has racks built in. Very handy!
