Descrizione
Ibanez's Premium Soundgear models are ultra-modern bass guitars that feature various special perks that boost their looks, feel and sound. The SR1425B is no different, but does feature a fifth string. This 5-string bass has a slim SR body that has been made from African mahogany, has been topped with flamed maple, and has been bolted to an Atlas-5 neck finished with a 12"-radiussed, flamed maple fretboard.
The Ibanez SR1425B: Highly Variable, Rich P-Style Sound
The foundation sound laid down by the body, neck and fretboard is translated into clean, full-bodied tone by the mounted pair of Nordstrand Big Break pickups. These single-coils-in-a-soapbar-housing feature tilted pole pieces for rich, P-style sound that can be tweaked to taste via the fitted balancer, volume, bass cut/boost and treble cut/boost controls.The Ibanez SR1425B also features an EQ bypass switch so you can even open a can of passive sounds at will.
