So you can tweak the sound of all three Plexis in minute detail, UA have equipped the UAFX Lion '68 with a Maestro EP-III Echoplex preamp, a BOSS GE-10 ten-band EQ and, of course, a classic Variac, which helped Van Halen shape his incredibly popular sound. You can use the UAFX Control App to create custom presets that can then be called up with the footswitch, activate a noise-gate, sculpt custom sounds and go deep into the settings.
