Marco Sfogli is maybe one of the most influential guitarists that walks the Earth. Known for his work with Icefish and Dream Theater's own James LaBrie (among others), the maestro has finally been granted his very own signature model. The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 Marco Sfogli Signature has been kitted out to match Sfogli's hyper-versatile playing, so this solid alder-bodied guitar has been given a full set of EMG pickups able to span everything from metal to jazz and fusion. The balanced active setup slaps an EMG89 humbucker at the bridge and an SA single-coil in the middle and neck positions which can be flipped into every conceivable configuration, and since the double-coil pickup can be split, the range is doubled.
The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 Marco Sfogli Signature
Since sound is nothing without style, this high-grade model comes topped with a slice of flamed maple and dipped in a Transparent Purple Burst paint-job that's set off by a black pickguard, while the control section has been stripped back a touch to a single tone, push/pull volume pot and five-way switch. The baked neck is finished with a caramelised maple fretboard with a comfy compound radius that graduates from a flattish 12 inches at the headstock to a flatter 16 inches at the body to support a snug grip on chords as well as licks. And as a neat final touch, full guidance is provided by a set of Luminlay side dots.

Fantastic guitar. The neck profile and fretboard radius combine to make this one of the most comfortable and effortless I've played in over 20 years of experience. The tonal variety offered by the pickup configuration is fantastic. Fit and finish leaves nothing to be desired, fretwork is fantastic. To top it all off the thing is even more beautiful in person, gigged it last night and had nothing but compliments both on looks and tone!
Een geweldige gitaar, ligt super in de hand en speelt ... als alles het doet en enigszins is afgesteld echt heel fijn.......
maar wat een enorme aanfluiting als het gaat om afwerking en oplevering. Geen Push/Pull geinstalleerd. Dan haal je het kapje van de tremolo veren los en dan schrik je je helemaal te pletter.... helemaal geen lak, een tremolo systeem die scheef, lees onder een hoek van bijna 60 graden is gemonteerd en dan is er ook geen aarde draad verbonden met het systeem.
Jemig en dan de vraag wat gebeurd er als je dit weer terugstuurt en moet wachten op een vervanging of eventuele reparatie....
Zuch... nu maar hopen dat er iemand van de klantenservice zich geroepen voelt om te zoeken naar een opplossing waar beide partijen zich in kunnen vinden... to be continued ........ :-(

Eccellente chitarra elettrica dal look veramente molto Valley Arts anni 90.Ottimi legni e hardware finiture da chitarra di alto livello ottimo manico performante raggio progressivo 12"/16", adatta praticamente a tutti i generi musicali. Unica nota stonata per una chitarra da 1600 euro quindi du fascia medio/alta c'era da aspettarsi almeno una custodia morbida imbottita.
